Greg began his tenure at Pitcher as COO, during which time he drove organizational change to accelerate company growth. Prior to joining Pitcher, he served as Operating Partner at Crest Rock Partners, a Private Equity firm and Pitcher investor. Greg is a successful entrepreneur and operator, specializing in starting and growing software companies in high-growth markets. He founded startups and led public companies as CEO or president, including Plexie, Xyleme, BluePhoenix Solutions, Codestream, and Advanced Software Technologies. Greg holds an M.S. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado.
Mert founded Pitcher in 2011 following the first release of the Apple iPad, when he anticipated the transformational value of SaaS combined with mobile technologies in selling complex products and solutions. He created a tablet-based SaaS platform for enterprise sales reps that could be continuously updated to meet the ever-changing needs across the sales rep’s journey. Prior to founding Pitcher, in 2007 Mert founded Vayen Solutions GmbH, a boutique mobile software development agency. Before Vayen, Mert was CTO at DigaDing, and a Software Engineer at Swisscom following an internship at Apple. Under Mert’s leadership, Pitcher is now deployed in 140 Fortune 500 companies across the globe in Life Sciences, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing, and continues to modernize the sales process through digital innovation. Mert earned an MSc in Computational Neuroscience and Neuromorphic Engineering from the University of Zurich and holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
Christoph is responsible for global financial services, HR, and administration at Pitcher. Chris brings a passion for excellence and execution, building on over 25 years of experience at international venture-backed start-ups in SaaS industries and other fast-growth environments where he drove strategic and operational planning; budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; global tax planning, treasury, M&A initiatives, and fundraising. Christoph previously served as CFO at Video Intelligence/Viewster, GetYourGuide, and Beatport. He also held executive finance positions at the Ministry of Sound and Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG). Christoph holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Imperial College Business School and a BA in French and Management from the University of Reading
Shane is driving Pitcher’s global sales and marketing teams while deepening our relationships with strategic partners. Shane brings a wealth of experience in driving revenue growth to the company from years of sales and management consulting at Altus Alliance, and his roles as President, CEO, and board positions at various companies. His experience spans multiple industries, including Healthcare, FinTech, Telecom, Design, Manufacturing, IoT, and Sporting goods. Shane’s expertise includes sales and marketing management, go-to-market strategy, branding and positioning, digital transformation, AI, and operational management. Shane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University and a degree from the Harvard Business School Executive Program.
Aleksander is responsible for Pitcher’s Services and Software Engineering teams. He oversees core product engineering, and custom software development, ensuring the user experience, capabilities, and integrations meet the needs of our customers. Aleksander brings 19 years of software experience to Pitcher, including positions at Roche, Astek Group, WeDo, Eurobank, and LCN Polska. Aleksander holds an MSc in IT from the Opole University of Technology, Poland.
As leader of the Customer Success Team, Dirk applies his broad and deep expertise in sales enablement, commercial excellence, and omnichannel transformation to help our customers successfully execute their commercial strategies on the Pitcher platform. Dirk has worked for over 30 years in the health and life sciences for different companies, geographies, and senior roles, including at Nestle and Reckitt, his own consultancy, and now Pitcher. Dirk has earned advanced degrees at EHSAL, IMD, and the London Business School.
Miriam is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources at Pitcher, providing expertise honed by more than 20 years of experience in global multicultural environments. Responsible for employee life cycle, talent management, and change management, she and her team have forged long-term partnerships with Pitcher business leaders to deliver effective HR strategies that support company goals through effective people management, employee engagement, success planning, organizational design, and global project implementation. Miriam holds a degree in Human Resources from NBW Betriebstwirtschaftliche Weiterbildung.
